Mallory, Nashville's finest hair stylist, had a ticket to see Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, one of her favorite bluegrass bands from back home in Wisconsin. She invited some of her dearest friends who were new to bluegrass and they all went together. Michael, Nashville's finest purveyor of music, had a ticket to see Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, a band that wrote an anthemic song titled "Whiskey". He went alone. Mallory, in all her sweet nature, approached the bar where a very single and very drunk Michael was ordering, and innocently asked "How do you know the band?" Michael replied simply enough, "I like bluegrass". Mallory shot back with something along the lines of "Cool, me too! I'm Mallory." Mal's friends had had enough fiddle, banjo, and upright bass but saw M&M chatting and getting along, and he looked like a decent enough guy, so they decided to leave. The rest is history.
