We’re Tying the Knot!

Mallory and Kurt met working together at Walgreens! Kurt’s store was supposed to be closing down and Mallory needed staff, so he was going to transfer to her store. Ultimately, his store did not end up closing, but Kurt still came to help out on weekends. They hit it off right away, but didn’t start dating until almost two years later.

Mallory was tired of keeping a secret and beating around the bush, so she decided to tell someone very gossipy at work about her crush. Kurt found out the next day thanks to the Walgreens rumor mill (haha). The next time Mallory and Kurt worked together they made plans for their first date and the rest is history!

We built our first home together through Fischer Homes. The whole process took about 8 months. We stopped by the house to visit at least once per week and check the progress. We finally have our own house!

After a long 12 hour shift, Mallory came home to see that Kurt had lit candles all over the house, put on romantic piano music, and spelled out the words “MARRY ME” with pictures from all of our memories together. He got down on one knee to ask and of course Mallory said yes! Kurt also made one of their favorite meals, chicken parmesan, and they ate together by candlelight.

We’re exchanging vows in a private ceremony at Yosemite National Park

We are having a reception with our closest friends and family to celebrate our marriage!
