Where will the wedding take place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Koolau Ballrooms & Conference Center. Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place at the 10th Tee Vista and the reception will take place inside the Glass Ballroom.

What time should I plan to arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the ceremony. The ceremony site is a short 5 minute walk from the parking lot. We will begin promptly at 10:00 AM

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail/garden attire requested. During this time of year, the weather in Kaneohe can be fairly humid and warm (80°F and above). The ceremony will be in an outdoor grassy area, while the reception will take place in an indoor air-conditioned area.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

The venue has a large outdoor parking lot in front of the entrance. Parking is free and guests can self-park their car. (No valet service provided.) The parking lot is a 5 minute walk from the ceremony site.

Are there accomodations for guests with mobility issues?

Answer

There is an access road to allow for drop-off of guests right in front of the ceremony site. The reception site is also wheelchair accessible.

How do I get to Koolau Ballrooms?

Answer

Koolau Ballrooms is located around 30 minutes from Waikiki and 25 minutes from the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport. When coming from HI-61 (Pali Highway), turn left on Kamehameha Highway (HI-83), proceed past the Pali Municipal Golf Course and turn left onto Kionaole Road. Follow the road for 2 miles to reach the main parking lot and venue. Once you arrive, there will be signage and staff to help guide you.

Are children and plus ones invited?

Answer

Children and plus-ones will be listed on your invitation and RSVP profile. Just let us know if they are coming so we can make sure there's enough food and seats for them.
