For those of you planning on getting to town by Friday, we will be hiking Bridal Veil Falls - Colorado's longest free-falling waterfall - just at the entrance of Box Canyon. The hike is considered "Moderate" and is 1.8 miles one-way to the top of the falls. Anyone is welcome to join! Please contact Mallory to coordinate - 702.595.6036. Drive east through the town of Telluride along Colorado Avenue toward the east side of the box canyon. Continue past the Pandora Mill site on your left and follow the gravel road up switchbacks to the top of the Falls. Alternatively, stop and park at the Valley View Area Parking and continue on foot or on a bike up the dirt road, following the switchbacks, to the falls. High clearance, 4-wheel drive vehicles are recommended. No vehicles are permitted beyond the top of the falls, but you may park and continue on foot. The gate just before the power plant is the trailhead heading into the Bridal Veil Basin.
