Is there a dress code?

Answer

For our wedding, please wear formal attire: guests should opt for a tuxedo or a suit for gentlemen, and a floor-length gown or a formal cocktail dress for ladies. We’re so excited to celebrate with you in style!

Where can I park?

Answer

The Merrimon-Wynne House in Raleigh has a complimentary parking lot located on Polk Street, directly across from the venue. The Polk Street lot is accessible by turning onto Polk Street from Blount Street (immediately after passing the venue) or from Person Street (turning onto Polk Street, then immediately left into the lot).

Are children allowed at the event?

Answer

We adore everyone’s children, but the ceremony and reception are adult-only, with the exception of children participating in the wedding party.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Plus ones are by invitation only and you will see "& Guest" or your partner's name on the invitation. If you do not see either, kindly do not bring a date. Unfortunately, we have limited space, so we simply can't accommodate for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Thank you so much for understanding!

Will the ceremony or reception be inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. Cocktail hour will be both outside and inside the Merrimon Wynne House. Dinner and dancing will be indoors.
