FAQs

The Wedding Website of Mallory Giddens and Jaret Polachek
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is December 1st, 2025, but to help us with our planning, please RSVP to the event as soon as possible. You can do so right here on our website! If we do not receive your RSVP by December 1st, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as a 'no' since we need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the Alderman House at 4:00 p.m to allow ample time for parking and getting seated before the procession begins at 4:30 p.m.

Question

Is there parking at the ceremony location?

Answer

Complimentary valet service will be available at the venue for all guests. Please feel free to drop off your car at the end of the driveway, and our attendants will take care of the rest! For guests who plan on drinking, please consider ordering an Uber or Lyft.

Question

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is exclusively for adults and older kids who are specified on the invitations, with the exception of immediate family who are part of our wedding party. We have chosen to do this so everyone, especially parents, can fully immerse themselves in the joy of the occasion. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to join us for our big day!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you've received a plus one, they will be specifically addressed in your party when you RSVP.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

The wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire, so we ask that guests dress elegantly but comfortably. For men, this typically means a dress shirt with dress pants or a suit, while women can wear a cocktail dress, a dressy pantsuit, or a nice skirt and top. Think of it as a step up from casual but not as formal as black tie. * The only thing we ask guests to avoid wearing is blue jeans * Note 1: The venue is mainly outdoors. While most of the celebration areas are paved, there is a lawn during the ceremony, and a patio during cocktail hour. Ladies who are concerned about heels sinking into the grass may choose to wear a block heel. Note 2: Ladies in the wedding party will be wearing light blue dresses, while gentleman in the wedding party will be wearing tan suits, however there is no requirement for guests to avoid wearing these colors.
