We actually met through one of our mutual friends, Jessica! We met back up with her a few weeks after our first date to hear a friend's band play!

We went on lots of dates! On favorites was in October to the Chris Stapleton concert in Tuscaloosa.

First Christmas: 2016

The Riley Wedding January 2017 We said "I love you" for the first time this night!

We celebrated with lots of friends who got married in 2017, and loved getting to know one another's friends better!

I finished my Master's Degree in May 2017. We enjoyed going to the Region's Golf Tournament around that time!

Daisy and Mattie both decided they loved Hunter as much as Mal did!

Hunter made it for his first Langner Family Beach Trip 2017!

In October 2017, I gained a stepdad and 2 stepbrothers, 2 sister in laws, 2 nieces, and 2 nephews! We celebrated with family for the ceremony!

We traveled some fun places in 2017! One favorite was Nashville for The Apple wedding!

Rang in 2018 together with great friends and decided we were in it for the long haul with each other!

We laid laminate floors in my brother's flip house and agreed it should be part of any couple's premarital counseling! We did it!

Helped Mallory’s Mom and Stepdad move into their new home in Spring of 2018!

Langner Beach Trip 2018. Around this time, Hunter also accepted a new job with Altec!

We loved being Aunt and Uncle to some sweet nieces and nephews over the summer!

Fall brought lots of football and naps!

Loved going back to our old stomping grounds in Tuscaloosa and admiring the campus!

After months of debating whether to sell Mallory's tiny Homewood house or not, we decided to keep it and update the main bath!

Thanksgiving 2018

On December 23, we were celebrating Christmas with Hunter’s family when my Mom text to tell us to come to their house for an early gift. This was the first clue on the front door!

A beautiful message in a bottle was on the tree!

Inside was a beautiful note from Hunter and he was down on one knee behind me!

My sweet brother was even able to leave the Christmas services at church for a bit to be there!

My Mom helped with the clues and placing everything out for Hunter!

My Mom and Stepdad, and my sister in law Sierra helped execute and photograph the whole thing! We are so thankful!

We celebrated with family and called and texted all those not close by to share the exciting news!

We loved going to Christmas at Highlands Christmas Eve with some family!
