What is “Beach Formal” attire?

Answer

This will be a formal wedding but understand Mexico can get warm this time of year. We ask you to consider what works best for you in these conditions while maintaining our vision. YES to: nice linen shirts, dress shirts, pants, close toed shoes, long/mid-length dresses. NO to: Neon colors, shorts, floral shirts, and ball caps, jeans, and of course white dresses :)

Should I bring a wedding gift to the wedding?

Answer

Although we are grateful and blessed to receive any gifts, please refrain from bringing any gifts to the actual wedding, as we will not be able to carry all our items and gifts home easily. The wedding shower is designed to have gifts be given/received prior to the wedding to avoid transportation. If you can not attend the wedding shower and plan to still buy a gift, you may chose to have it delivered to the address we have listed to send to.

Will the resort be all inclusive?

Answer

Yes - the resort is all inclusive for all guests on food, alcohol for over the age of 21. This is included with the purchase of 3 night stay.

Is the resort family friendly?

Answer

Yes- the resort is family friendly. HOWEVER, the wedding will be 18+ besides the couples immediate family. If you plan to bring children please contact Grant or Mallory to give notice so we can work with the resort.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please see RSVP tab for dates. If you do not RSVP via room block and wedding you WILL be removed from the wedding guest list. Please plan accordingly.

Can I book more than the 3 night requirment?

Answer

Absolutely! Its your vacation as well! :)

What if I only want to attend the Wedding shower?

Answer

That is completely okay! Please see our wedding shower tab for all information and RSVP!

If I don't plan to stay on the resort, what do I need to do?

Answer

You will need to contact Grant & Mallory immediately as the resort security need to be informed of your names 60 days prior for the event. You will not be allowed to stay after the Reception so please arrange transportation to and from the wedding activites.

How secure is the Hotel?

Answer

Hyatt Ziva is a gated and secured location with its own private beach. You will be required to show identification and confirmation upon arrival.

How will I be transported from the airport?

Answer

The bride and groom are currently working to see if we can provide transportation on popular arrival times. If not accessible, we will provide a list of trusted transportation companies you can schedule with or grab on your exit from the airport!

Are you aware of the current events?

Answer

Very- we want to ensure comfortability and safety of all guest attending. We are up to date on all events in the area. Please note the couple works closely with the resort and is local newsfeed and will use discretion if seen fit. Please do not directly contact Grant or Mallory unless urgent.

When booking my rooms, when will I be paying?

Answer

You will be charged 30 days prior to the event

What if I want to upgrade my room before attending?

Answer

You will need to contact the resort directly for upgrades, please be sure to note you are using room blocks for Schraeder Wedding.

If i miss the cutoff date for room blocks, can i still book at the resort?

Answer

You will need to book directly on the resort webpage which will not include our room rate discount. PLEASE NOTE - availability may be limited at this time as it is the resort busy season
