Travel Note

Taxi Information

Pray for Uber! Victoria is still without ride share so please plan to use cabs, buses or rent a car. The Empress is located right in the heart of Victoria and all of our planned activities plus many tourist spots, activities and restaurants are within walking distance. Bluebird Cabs Ltd. is Available 24/7 Call: (250) 382-2222

Travel Note

Victoria City Transit

If you don't mind hopping on a bus, $5 will get you a Day-Pass any day while you are in Victoria. The busses from the airport are double-decker, so if you haven't done that before it is pretty fun.

Travel Note

Ferry

If you are taking BC Ferries from Vancouver, you absolutely need to make a reservation unless you are walking on without a car. Be warned, in August they WILL sell out - so please book early! The Clipper is ideal if you are coming from Seattle, or plan to spend time in this region before/after the wedding. This ferry is passenger-only (no cars) with 2 departures daily in late summer between downtown Seattle and downtown Victoria. For our guests who prefer to drive, we suggest the M.V. Coho ferry on the Black Ball Ferry Line, with service between Port Angeles, WA, and Victoria. Reservations are recommended and there are 4 departures daily in late summer.

Flight

Flights

If you are coming in from afar, flying into the Victoria International Airport (YYJ) is likely your best option. Looking for an adventure? There are several flights daily between Vancouver and Victoria and Seattle and Victoria. You can also book the Sea & Sky Package: travel one-way on a seaplane and one-way on the Clipper ferry.
