When is the wedding?

We are honored that you’re interested-- our wedding will be over the summer in a private ceremony with immediate family only. Our engagement party is your opportunity to celebrate with us!

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire—think cocktail dresses, LBDs, that fabulous jumpsuit you’ve been wanting to wear. And for men, suit or slacks with a blazer. Make grandma proud!

Where can I park?

Answer

There are several parking garages near The Freehand Hotel (which is on Lexington Avenue, between 23rd & 24th Street). If you are driving in, we recommend checking out bestparking.com for deals on nearby parking garages. The party will last about 4 hours.

I'm coming in from out of town, where should I stay?

Answer

Please click over to the 'Travel' tab, where you can see details of room blocks available and deadlines for booking. There is no shortage of hotels in NYC and you are welcome to book elsewhere if you prefer!

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Yes! While this will not be a sit down meal there will be a grazing table, a few food stations and an open bar.

I have a food allergy; can I make a special request?

Please let us know as soon as possible how we can accommodate your dietary plan and we will try our hardest to do so.

Is there anything happening after the party?

Meet us on the roof at the Broken Shaker for some more hanging and sunset views

Are my kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids! But we want our engagement party to be your afternoon off, so this will be an adult only celebration. For our out of town guests, we will have a babysitter at the hotel during the party. If you would like your kids to be included in this, please reach out to Janet McGregor at 330-606-2204 by the RSVP deadline.

Can I bring a date?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate additional guests and kindly ask that only the individuals named on the invitation attend. We cherish our time with friends and loved ones and appreciate your understanding.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Please know that celebrating with you is the best gift we could ask for! However, for friends and family who have expressed an interest, you can click the ‘registry’ tab for some things we would love as newlyweds.
