How We Met

Eric was a Pharmacist at Publix, where the Wagamans frequently filled their needed prescriptions. One day, Mallory went to the pharmacy to get a required vaccine. She was wearing a Georgia Bulldogs shirt and was about to go watch the game. While Eric was preparing to administer her vaccine, he made small talk about Georgia football. He mentioned he was going to watch the game with some friends, who were cooking a low country boil (Mallory's favorite). He administered the vaccine, didn't ask her to go to the low country boil with him, and they went their separate ways. Mallory went home and was talking to her mom, Melissa, when she mentioned the pharmacist was also a Georgia fan who was getting off and watching the game. Melissa claimed that he never talked to her that much. Several months later, Melissa was at the pharmacy and asked a technician if Eric was single. She found out he was, but he wasn't really interested in dating anyone. Melissa left it at that and decided not to say anything. A few weeks later, the technician said that Eric "remembered your daughter and would go out with her." Melissa took it upon herself to give Eric, Mallory's cell phone number and claimed "if you don't do dumb things when you're young, you won't have any fun stories to tell when you're old." It was later that day when Mallory was heading into work that she received a text from Eric.

Our First Date

After the initial text message, Eric planned a date for Axe Throwing. The two met each other downtown and Mallory was wearing open toed shoes (Eric left out important outfit requirements). So they could not throw axes and had to drive to Mallory's to get different shoes. They ended up throwing axes at a later time and went to Sole for a drink. The night ended at Doc's and Eric driving Mallory home. The next day Eric sent a message saying what a great time he had and that he would enjoy doing it again sometime. Mallory was occupied tiling a shower and replied that she would too, which was followed by a "Happy Sunday." Eric thought he blew it because of this message, but thankfully kept replying and the eventful dates continued.
