Eric & I had known of each other previously from college. We would snapchat here and there but we never actually got a chance to meet. Around November last year I decided to send him another snapchat to see if anything would come of it. We talked for a few days and then he asked me on a date FINALLY!! I was living in Nashville at the time and he was living in Milan. He told me he was already coming up for the weekend because he has some friends that live near Nashville. Which I came to find out that he does have friends that live near Nashville but he didn't have previous plans to come that weekend. He was actually supposed to run in a 5K which he skipped to take me on a date. I had a few friends that were already planning to go to Topgolf to play that weekend so we decided to join them. We got a chance to eat first before we actually started playing and while we were eating Eric and I just talked and talked. I learned that he was smart, funny, goal oriented and obviously handsome ;) We just clicked and from then on I just knew that this was a guy worth keeping around and I guess he thought the same about me. Eric and I had been dating a little over 9 months when he proposed. He got all of my family and friends together at Arrington Vineyards in Nashville and proposed to me down by the vines. My family and friends were hiding at the top of the hill where all the decorations were and came down to surprise me after he proposed. It was the most perfect day that I will never forget. Eric is the sweetest and most thoughtful man that I know and I can't wait to become his wife on May 1, 2021!
