Eric and Mallory met by chance on St Patrick’s Day in 2014! They sat next to one another at Mogie’s and got to talking about music and Eric introduced Mal to his band Red Room Effect. They went on to chat for a few years as friends..Mal went to see a few of his local shows and realized she’d even known Eric’s mom from her first high school job working at Somma’s! Small world indeed! Years later when they met up again, they went out a few times and decided to become more than friends. Their first date was at Wooden Door Winery and everything just clicked. Mal introduced Eric to her furbaby Luna and he has grown to love her just as much as Mal does! Eric and Mal got their first apartment in Oakmont together where they lived for a few years! After Mal’s dad passed, they worked hard to fix up the house with the help of her awesome family and they finally moved in in April 2023.

Eric and Mallory had talks of engagement for a few years. Eric and Mal took a day to go get a beautiful custom ring designed for her. Eric lovingly proposed at home after a typical night out to dinner. Luna surprised Mom with the ring around her collar to help Dad ask the big question!!! Obviously she said Y E S and they called family and friends immediately!
