Will there be parking on site?

Answer

Yes! There are two parking lots. The parking lots next to the Four River Environmental Center has 39 spaces. This is the closest parking to the ceremony and reception. The other parking lots is by the Four Rivers shelter. It has 59 spaces. Please do not park on the side of the road.

Can I bring a plus one to the wedding?

We kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation or included in your RSVP response join us for the celebration. Thank you for understanding!

ARE KIDS INVITED?

Answer

We adore all of your children, however due to limited space, we are kindly asking guests not to bring kids unless otherwise stated on the invitation.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Answer

The ceremony is at 4:30 pm. We kindly ask that all guests arrive by 4:00 pm to find their seats.

Will we be outside?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony is outdoors under a pavilion, rain or shine. If it is storming, it will be moved indoors. The reception is inside with patio access.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dress up for this special occasion. We ask that you dress in semi-formal/cocktail attire.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We would appreciate it if you could leave the photo taking to our amazing photographer who will be snapping away to get all those perfect ceremony shots. So, we kindly ask that you sit back, relax, and simply enjoy the moment with us, no cameras needed. Thank you!

WILL DINNER BE BUFFET, FAMILY STYLE, OR PLATED?

Dinner will be buffet style from Uncle Bubs BBQ!

Will there be a shuttle?

Answer

Unfortunately, there will be no shuttle.

WHERE SHOULD I EXPECT TO STAY FOR THE NIGHT?

Answer

There are two hotels in Minooka, Hampton Inn & Suites and Townplace Suites. They are about a 15 minute drive to the venue. I have blocked off rooms at Hampton Inn & Suites with a special discounted rate. Please see the travel tab on our website.
