Celebrate with us!

With the company of just a few family members we tied the knot in one of our favorite places in the world, Colorado! The weekend was spent enjoying the outdoors; we even went on a family white water rafting excursion! Love filled the air as we traveled to nearby Ridgway to exchange our vows and then partied the night away in Ouray, first at the beautiful Beaumont Hotel and then down the road to a nearby distillery. We loved every minute of our wedding and are so excited to share in the love and excitement at our Frisco, TX reception.

We stayed in Colorado and enjoyed a mini-moon... sans kiddos , we just had to stay and enjoy Colorado a bit more (our real honeymoon is in January)! We drove to Durango and rode a 19th century coal powered train into Needleton. A few quiet, remote days of backpacking the Chicago Basin was incredible and just what we needed after the hustle and bustle of the wedding. The best part were the wild mountain goats, who weren't very wild! We enjoyed spending our time with them and seriously, the babies were the cutest! We then made our way back to Durango and squeezed in another white water rafting trip. This time it was an intense and very splashy class 4/5 route down the Animas River. It was so much fun that now we've decided to take it up as a new hobby. Then we slowly made our way back to Texas, enjoying every bit of the drive. We relished in the silence of the backseat, had a blast getting completely enthralled with the murder mystery we were listening to, and enjoyed every second of non interrupted conversation. It was a great week!
