Charles and I met on a Field Trip at Eckert’s Farm in Belleville, IL. The day we met the two of us could feel a connection. I was sitting on a wagon with my students and looking around. I looked to my left and notice he was standing talking to one of my co-workers taking a selfie. As our eyes connected, he said to me “I have my eyes on you.” I instantly turned my head to the right with no words. Later, as I walked my students to the restroom. Charles seen me walking and continue to flirt by asking if I was following him. This was a day I will never forget and it has become a lovable memory. He called my co-worker a week later asking about me. She walked to my classroom to ask if he could have my phone number. Charles was serious and consistent with calling, and asking if I would go on a lunch date. I decided to meet him for lunch on my off day October 9, 2023. We had a great time talking and laughing together the rest of the day. We continued to date and never a dull moment together. Our hearts intertwined into a perfect love for each other. On September 12, 2024 on My Blessed Birthday. Charles asked me to Marry Him. I absolutely had a Yes in my desirable heart with “Tears of Joy!” We decided to start planning our wedding and we will become One on Saturday May 31, 2025. We plan to have the wedding I always wanted. Our Family, Friends, and Co-Workers who are close to our hearts will attend. 💗🤍💙 I am so Excited and Grateful to Marry the Man of my dream and who I asked God to send me.
