Our love story began at Cameran's brothers wedding in October 2020. As the best man, he caught Mallory's eye while diligently doing his homework at the head table. Mallory mustered up the courage, and with a friends introduction, their conversation unfolded throughout the night. After a few drinks and a lot of dancing, Cameran asked Mallory to go on a date the next morning. They talked for hours after they finished their brunch and eventually came to the conclusion that their feelings were strong enough to overcome the distance of Milwaukee (Mallory - Marquette '21) to Oshkosh (Cameran - UW Oshkosh '23).

It was a beautiful Labor Day weekend when Cameran planned a getaway at Mallory's family lake house. The Crawford family rented an Airbnb nearby, and masked the weekend plans as a joint family birthday celebration. With both families in on the surprise, they enjoyed sun soaked days of boating and lively yard games. Little did Mallory know that Sunday held a surprise that would forever change their lives. As everyone prepared for a day on the boat, Cameran whisked Mallory away to the pier. Cameran delivered a few heartfelt lines before dropping to one knee with a ring box and a question that would make them partners for life. Overwhelmed with joy, Mallory said "Yes!". Behind them, their families eagerly watched, ready with champagne to toast the beginning of Mallory and Cameran's forever. The day continued with a blissful celebration on the lake, surrounded by the warmth of their loved ones.
