We went here on our first date. This is where we started! We had an order of beignets and two hot coffees. It was a cold, December day!
Here you can enjoy our favorite sushi! This is our celebration location. We ate here after Antione proposed and celebrated our most exciting event up until our wedding day! If you go, be sure to order the cold smoked tuna (it's not on the menu, but you'll want to take a video when they bring it out to you).
Yummy muffaletta, pizza and so much more!
Another tasty place. Parking might be tough but a ride down to Magazine street is worth it! Lot's of cute shops and the Rum House has some tasty Caribbean & Latin American cuisine!
We recommend if you choose to go to the famous french quarter to take an Uber as parking will be difficult. If busy streets and paying to park doesn't bother you, there are many lots, the last time we went to the quarter we parked in the lot next to Jax Brewery lot, here's the address: 500 Decatur St. New Orleans LA 70130! Make sure you hop on the streetcar, we recommend to hop on the green ones (it will go down St. Charles and there are beautiful homes to look at). Go ahead and purchase the day pass - you'll be able to hop on and off as much as you'd like. If you hop off at the wrong location (Mallory will confirm this has happened to her) then you won't have to worry about finding your way back home. We believe it's cash only - and they don't give change! Have $3 for the 1 Day Jazzy Pass!
We have so many memories here. There is a Cafe Du Monde, you can rent bikes of all sorts, mini golf, take a ride on their train around the park or just go for a walk. There are botanical and sculpture gardens here too! Take a look on the website before you go to see if there's something we missed!
Are you looking to take a ride through the swamp? Check out this tour - Groupon often has a discount! It's a bit of a drive, so you'll want to plan accordingly :)
Book your tickets before you go! This is indoors, guided and if you enjoy music and art this is a must go for you!
If you're into history, this is a great museum. You'll want to spend all day here!
Email Mallory at mallory.wendling@gmail.com and we will let you know if we have any suggestions for what you're looking for (food, fun or something else)! We want your experience traveling to New Orleans to be memorable! Mallory may ask for someone else to respond to your questions, but we will be sure to respond!
