Matron of Honor
Sydney is Mallory’s cousin and someone she can go to with anything. Sydney has been there for Mallory since day one, literally! Mallory can always count on Sydney to be her dance partner on the dance floor, especially when Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” comes on. She truly is a light in Mallory’s life!
Best Man
Many people know Simon from laughing at the random things he would bring home to the apartment. From traffic cones, to pizza delivery signs, to comfy blankets, we were never short of decor. Simon also has a soft side, and was a great roommate and teammate of Alex at Grand Valley. Alex is lucky and thankful to call him his best friend.
Maid of Honor
Lexi is also Mallory’s cousin, and has always been such a huge support system in Mallory’s life. Lexi is a ray of sunshine and brings so much joy to Mallory and Alex. Heck, Lexi liked Alex so much that we hooked her up with one of Alex’s best friends, Corey Smith! ;)
Groomsman
Corey and Alex met playing hockey at Grand Valley and spend plenty of time together to this day. From playing golf to throwing t-shirts, Alex knew Corey was the kind of person you want in your life. We cannot wait to see him play out his dream of being a minor league GM.
Junior Bridesmaid
Avery Lynn is Mallory’s baby cousin! Mallory and Alex love spending time with her. We wouldn’t be able to say “I do” without her! Alex has been in Avery’s life since she was 3 years old! She plays a very important role in our lives!
Groomsman
Seth is a guy with an unbelievable, outgoing personality. Seth and Alex met at the Whitecaps and became close very quick. They spent every summer day at the lake, hitting the course, and then crushing quesadillas at the ballpark. Seth will always be Alex’s first overall draft pick for a game of cornhole.
Bridesmaid
Ashton is Alex’s amazing sister! Ashton has watched our relationship blossom the minute we started dating. Since then, she has become one of Mallory’s best friends! She is someone you can crack a cold one with and talk about life. Mallory can’t wait to call her a sister!
Groomsman
Rustin and Alex spent every minute of every day together growing up on Indian Lake in Vicksburg. They spent summer nights tubing, wakeboarding, and sitting by the bonfire. They also played baseball together in high school and walked together at graduation.
Bridesmaid
Kim and Mallory met when they were 3 years old in a sand box. From the moment they met, they knew they’d be best friends! Kim has always supported Mallory no matter what, and that’s why their friendship is so strong. Mallory can always count on Kim for a good laugh!
Groomsman
EJ and Alex spent many mornings and nights at the rink together growing up. From learning to skate to long bus rides in high school, they were always on the same line on the ice. They would stay up late crushing mini hockey and NHL drafts. Can’t have a good hot tub sesh at Hudson’s without EJ being there.
Bridesmaid
Harleigh and Mallory met in middle school and connected from the start. Mallory and Harleigh have always been there for each other no matter what. They lived 8 hours away from each other in college and still managed to keep their bond strong. The distance wouldn’t break them!
Groomsman
Logan was the body guard Alex needed in hockey growing up. Playing together for their entire childhood, Logan would bully anyone who looked at Alex the wrong way. Even though he was a tough guy on the ice, he was a teddy bear off and you can find him pregame at IHOP crushing Cinnastacks pancakes.
Bridesmaid
Mallory met Danielle at the West Michigan Whitecaps! She is a very dear friend of both Alex and Mallory. We can always count on her to be there for us. She is the most caring and genuine person we’ve ever met! We’re so thankful that the Whitecaps brought us all together!
Groomsman
Matt was Alex’s boss at the Whitecaps and takes full credit for Mallory and Alex falling in love. Although Matt started as a boss, he became a great friend to Alex. They spent endless time together building new games, measuring fencing for corgi races, and bugging co-workers while they play office chair baseball.
Officiant
The man, the myth, the legend. For anyone who is lucky enough to know Bob Wells, can tell you how caring and fun this guy is. Bob is the on-field host for the West Michigan Whitecaps, and had a front row seat to see Alex strike out trying to win over Mallory early on. He is a very special person in our lives and are honored to have him be part of our big day!
