Anything you want, within reason. We want our loved ones and guests to feel comfortable, but to also feel like they look amazing! Doesn't have to be a black tie affair, but please no t-shirts and jeans. Thank you
PLEASE wear costumes to the reception! It's a wedding, yes, but it's also a Halloween party! The bride and groom both love Halloween and can't wait to celebrate with you!!
The wedding will take place at the historic Rowland Theater in Phillipsburg, PA. The reception will take place at the US hotel in Hollidaysburg, PA.
As many of you know, the groom is sober. Out of respect for his sobriety, as well as those in the couple's chosen family who are sober, struggling in their sobriety, or in active addiction, alcohol will not be served to the wedding guests. There is, however, a hotel bar that serves drinks that guests can utilize. Please be respectful of those who have fought and won their sobriety at this event. Harmful language about alcoholism, alcoholics anonymous, or addiction will not be tolerated. Thank you for your understanding.
Glad you asked! Since Mallory and Aaron both have Christian roots, it's going to mostly look like a pretty typical wedding. There will be vows exchanged, rings exchanged, and joy everywhere. However, in addition there will be a handfasting ceremony, as well. Handfasting is a beautiful, heartfelt tradition, and where the expression "tying the knot" comes from!
