Mal was the tenacious book worm who asked too many questions in class. Adam was eager to escape class in time to get a Chick-Fil-A biscuit. Mal admired Adam's love of animals and ability to build things, and despite their differences they became fast friends. By 2018 they lived in New York and North Carolina for Neurology and Emergency Medicine residencies.
