As of September 1, 2021 SLO County implemented a public health order that requires individuals 2 years old and older to wear a mask in all indoor public places, including restaurants, retail stores, and more. We anticipate the indoor mask requirement to still be in effect during our wedding weekend. Remember to pack masks! For the latest updates, visit https://www.emergencyslo.org or follow @slopublichealth on Instagram.
We want to be as safe as possible. Several of our close family members are at a much higher risk of infection due to age and/or health conditions. Plus, there is still a small risk of breakthrough infections in vaccinated people, and we have people attending from several states, and areas throughout California. Safety is our number one concern because you all are our favorite people in the world.

PCR test: We recommend getting tested on Wednesday, October 6 to be within the 72 hour requested window. Antigen test: We recommend testing at home the day before or morning of the day you join us at the Madonna Inn. Rapid tests: Same as antigen test
We will have KN-95 masks available at the welcome table for those who wish to wear them and hand sanitizer throughout the event.
We have heard from several people in SLO that October is a great month for weather. There is usually very little wind, the summer coastal fog is gone, and temperatures are pleasant. At this time, the weather outlook for October 9, 2021 is around a high of 79 degrees and a low of 55 degrees which is about the average for October.
We suggest cocktail attire but feel free to wear that thing you’ve been wanting to wear! Dresses, skirts, jumpsuits, jackets, sequins, suits and ties of all sorts are welcome. The Madonna Inn is a bright and quirky venue. Please come as your fabulous, glamorous selves! Highly Recommended: We’ll be outdoors on grass the whole event. Please avoid spiky heels and bring a sweater, wrap, or jacket with you for the evening.
