Can I have my phone out during the ceremony?

Answer

Short answer, no thank you. Long answer, we are putting A LOT into making this a special experience and having photos of the ceremony full of the backs of people's phones really takes a lot of it away. We'll be happy to share the professional shots with you (they're going to be better than your phone anyway, we promise!) and would LOVE to get pictures with you once we're all said and married!

What is parking like?

Answer

Parking is free on all of the city streets. There are two parking lots available within a block that are $10 to park in. Please leave some extra time for weather and walking to ensure you don't miss it!

Answer

Look for the "registry" tab at the top of our website; there are links to each of our registries at Amazon, REI, and Bed Bath and Beyond.

It's the first day of winter, what about my coat?

Answer

There will be a free coat check at the door!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you're invitation says 'and guest' then absolutely! If it does not, please remember that while we want you to be as comfortable as possible, we only have so many spots for our loved ones.

What is the attire?

Answer

Cocktail attire; how often do you get to get all dolled up in your daily life? If the shoes get too high or that top button gets too tight, please feel free to loosen up as the night goes on!

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes, absolutely! Maybe stash a few singles for the bartender though; he's going to be working hard to keep you happy!

What if I'm awesome and get there super early?

Answer

Great! There will be a parlor for you to have a drink and some snacks to relax with other guests while waiting for everyone to arrive.

Are there any hotels close by?

Answer

Yes! Please see the 'travel' tab at the top of this site for some hotel recommendations. The venue is basically in downtown Pittsburgh so TONS of options are available, we just listed some of the closest.
