Covid-19 changes

Dear Family and Friends, We've been watching the coronavirus situation closely, and out of concern for the health of our loved ones, we've made the difficult decision to dramatically change our wedding plans. We considered several options including; downsizing, postponing, eloping or canceling and have come to the difficult decision to hold the ceremony on the original date with only our immediate family members in attendance. Given the uncertainty with governmental recommendations, accompanied with the potentially lethal situation it creates for guests we love, we didn’t feel safe going as planned. We understand you're disappointed and we are too. However, our top priority is protecting the health of all of our loved ones and this is the decision we think is best for everyone at this time. We hope you can support us in our decision. We plan to record the ceremony and will share it with you as soon as it’s ready. We’ll keep you updated regarding the video. Sending you all love and wishes for good health. Love, Mallory and Dillon

How We Met

Friend Zoned

Dillon and Mallory met in high school. Dillon went to Alexander and Mallory went to Athens (rival schools). They were really good friends, often finding swimming holes, going to the movies, and taking long car rides to Olive Garden. Mallory has a full box of movie tickets from all the movies they've seen over the years. But it wasn't until Mallory's senior year in college that they officially started dating. Dillon had just returned from deployment in the Navy.

The Proposal

Who do you love more?

On the first day of Dillon and Mallory's vacation heading back to Dillon's old Navy stomping grounds in Virginia. They stopped in Covington, VA, a place they visited often when they were dating long distance. They went to some familiar sites, the waterfalls, and ate their favorite local italian food by the Humpback bridge. The bridge is a historical bridge that overlooks a picturesque creek. After eating they crossed through the bridge and made their way down to the rocky creek. They skipped rocks underneath the bridge, competing to see who could skip farther. On Mallory's last throw Dillon took his opportunity to ask the big question. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you See you on the square!
