We're Getting Married

Chris and Mallory met on March 12th, 2016 at the famous "Beach Banger" party. It was a birthday party for two of Chris's friends (Mason and Calvin), and Mallory's best friend, Lindsay, was dating Calvin at the time. Their friend groups merged and they went to many pool parties, bonfires and late night hot tub seshes together. It's safe to say that Chris was interested and remembers thinking that whoever ended up with Mallory would be so lucky, but there just wasn't a window of opportunity because Mallory was deep in the dating game/didn't want to ruin a great friendship. Over the years, Mal had always admired Chris. She loved how he made her laugh, was the life of the party, pushed her out of her comfort zone and was just so solid. She always knew that Chris would make someone so happy someday, but it just didn't occur to her that SHE could be the one to end up with him. Long story short, about a year into their friendship, Mallory set Chris up with a girl she knew. That was going to be the end of their story. ** Fast forward about a year** Mal took an internship in New Zealand and moved back to Provo in August of 2018. They were both single for the first time in their whole friendship AND unbeknownst to them, they had both signed contracts at the same apartment complex. What's even more ironic is that they were on the same floor, just four doors away from each other. From the day school started, they spent every day together. That semester, Chris got his first B and Mal takes full responsibility. Chris successfully made his way out of the friendzone. "I love you" was said just weeks after dating and they never looked back. Chris pulled off the biggest surprise when he proposed on Jan 17th, because he had Mallory convinced that they'd go ring shopping later that week. It was the easiest yes she'd ever said. Everyday they grow more excited to be sealed in the temple and start life together!
