When I think about us back when it all started, all I can picture are two kids, without a clue. Not knowing or caring about anything other than the simple fact that we had to have one another. No matter what it took or who thought what. So, that’s just what we did. We got one another, and we held on tight. I’m sure we’d both agree on doing a lot of things different, but we have a lifetime for that now❤️ We’ve always shared mutual friends, and would run into one another time to time. I was always flattered around and by him, from as far back as I can remember. He was the “hot stuff” to me back then. STILL IS! But, there I was, a little girl, 4 years younger than him, set in my own mind that there would never ever be a chance. He was just way too old and MY PARENTS WOULD KILL ME! So for a while, he was just butterflies in my little tummy. As far as kicking things off goes, I guess we have social media to really thank these days. Good ol Twitter! Goodness...we and those country song lyrics!! That’s how we kicked things off - LOL! I’d tweet one verse, and he’d tweet the next. Until I caught on. Vice versa. Such nerds, I know! I think Clay Walker taught us both a little about love back then. We still fall asleep to his pandora station, til this day! I did used to grab his hand, make him spin me around, and I’d always say, “I’m gonna marry you some day, Jeremiah Ray!” We giggle about that today. I guess my flirting got me where I wanted it to, huh? He is my very best friend. My world would not make sense without him and my heart could never love the way it has loved him. I cannot wait to become his WIFE and to grow old next to him.
