Maid of Honor
Hi, I’m Marjorie, Mallorie’s sister and maid of honor. Mallorie and I have always balanced each other—shes the calm to my storm and vice versa, she’s the thoughtful one, and I’m usually the one saying “let’s just go for it.” On one unforgettable trip to the Bahamas, she trusted me enough to join in on one of my “why not?” moments—and ended up loving it. That’s the thing about her: even when she’s unsure, she shows up with love and loyalty every single time. She’s been my built-in best friend my whole life, and I’m so lucky to call her my sister. Watching her step into this next chapter of life, with the same love and trust she’s always carried, makes me so proud—and I couldn’t be happier for the life she’s building with her forever person.

I have so many fond memories with Mallorie, it’s hard to choose just one. But my favorite has to be our first vacation together to Cali. Nothing but overpacked bags, no money, and the smiles on our faces. Yet, somehow, it turned into one of the best trips I’ve ever been on. We made the absolute most out of nothing by just being in good company. Somewhere in all of that, I remember thinking, “this girl is just like me.” It just felt like one of those nostalgic memories you look back on from childhood — except we didn’t grow up together. How blessed I am to have a friendship as special as ours, and we still get to carry it with us to this day. Mallorie, I am so incredibly grateful that God placed us in each other’s lives. I truly couldn’t ask for a better friend. Watching yours and Adjei’s love grow into something so beautiful and special has been such a blessing. I'm so happy my best friend has met someone who is genuinely just as wonderful as her. As long as you both continue to find laughter and simplicity, even in life’s challenges, your love will carry you through anything. I pray this marriage will be one for the books, and that generations to come will look at you both as an example of what love truly looks like. I cannot wait to witness that special moment with you both on your wedding day. I love you guys so much!

Hi, I’m Kristian, one of the bride’s cousins and proud bridesmaids. My entire life I have had the great privilege of watching mallorie grow into the amazing woman she is today. When I think about my favorite memories with Mallorie, it’s not just the many family road trips we took packed in the back of a van, traveling across the country each year. It’s not even the countless cousin sleepovers we had growing up, the times she pulled up to my school just to have my back and share a laugh, or even the trips we’ve taken together as adults. Honestly, it’s not just one moment. It’s the season when I was at my lowest, and she welcomed me into her space with no questions and no end date. We’d cook dinner together like two old ladies just taking life day by day, and she stayed up with me through long nights filled with both tears and laughter until I found myself again. Those moments mean everything to me and remind me that she’s not just my cousin—she’s one of my best friends. I’m so honored to stand by her side and celebrate the beautiful love she’s found with Adjei. Wishing you both a lifetime filled with love, laughter, peace, and unwavering support for one another.

Hey everyone my name is D’Aira aka the baby of the group! Mallorie and I’s fondest memory together was going skating as a family at Saints every Saturday afternoon and then going to Ponderosa afterwards! Then trying to decide who’s going to asks who’s mother if they could come stay the night 😂 I wish Mallorie & Adjei nothing but the best on their new journey into marriage! I pray God covers their unity in peace, love, happiness, patience, and unwavering loyalty. Love you guys! 🧡

Hey I’m Cameo, (Mallorie’s first cousin) but Cousin is an understatement because we were raised like sisters….. literally! Being only a one year apart Mallorie has always been and always will be my girl. I have thousands of unforgettable memories but one of the ones that stuck out the most is when we danced to Ashanti “baby baby baby” song at our family reunion as kids. TO THIS DAY when the song plays we can’t help but do the dance. It was so funny and cute lol. On another note just want to say congratulations on your wedding day! I’m so incredibly happy for you and everything this new chapter brings. You’ve always been more than a cousin to me—you’re a sister, a best friend, and someone I’m so grateful to always have in life 🥹 Watching you go find a love that makes you so happy is truly beautiful. You deserve all the joy, laughter, and love that comes with this new journey. I hope your marriage is filled with endless support, unforgettable moments, and a lifetime of happiness together for not just you but the girls as well! No matter where life takes us, I’ll always be here for you—just like sisters are. I love you so much, and I’m so proud of you. Congratulations again to you both! 💕
Best Man
From 5th grade with the flat-top fro to grown men, I can’t explain how proud I am of you, bro. I had the chance to grow up with what I call a real, true friend — someone I can honestly say has never changed since the day I met him. Man, we’ve shared so many laughs together from 5th grade until now. Watching what you went through as a kid and into adulthood motivated me throughout my own life. No need to drag it out — all I want to say is I’m proud of you, brother. Continue being a great father and soon-to-be great husband, bro. P.S. I wouldn’t expect anything less from a Mensah.

I am Joseph Mensah younger brother of the Groom Emmanuel of House Mensah. I'm beyond happy for you big bro. The love you've found is everything you deserve and more. Congrats on your union to my sister-in-law!

What’s up man, I’m John Cutrer one of the groomsmen, and I’ve been there since the beginning of your journey into the man you are today. I still remember your first car and selling you your first set of rims. I also remember us talking about joining the Army together — I didn’t finish the process, but you did, and you never looked back. You’re the true definition of “started from the bottom, now we here.” Watching your growth over the years has been inspiring, and I couldn’t be more proud of the man you’ve become. I’m honored to be a part of you and your fiancée’s big day. Love you, brother, and congratulations again on everything ❤️💪🏾

I’m Jarrod one of the groomsmen, I met Black in Ft. Hood while in the military over a decade ago. He was my first soldier, and the bond was instant. Since then, I’ve always looked out for and respected him as my brother. In and out of the military, we have endured several good times and not-so-good times together, and it’s always been MAN LOVE!! I’m thankful for our relationship and that he is truly a friend who always gives his honest opinions and thoughts above all else. I wish you and the soon-to-be Mrs. Black nothing but the absolute best. Brothers for life.

Our rivalry spawned in 2016 while playing Mortal Kombat X online. We would have the casual “hi and bye” conversations, but little did I know that our hatred for each other would exponentially grow. On April 23, 2019, with the release of Mortal Kombat 11, Manny and I had more in-depth conversations while killing each other’s characters. He tried to keep the facade of being an evil guy for as long as he could, but I could tell he was a wholesome guy with a good head on his shoulders. He is the kind of person who is brutally honest about his views, how he feels, and his opinions (even if he is wrong). If you’ve got a problem with it, you can pull a ticket number and leave your complaint at the door. We all know he doesn’t tolerate bullshit. We actually met in person in 2020, and from there, we appreciated each other’s differences and similarities. It was nice hanging out with someone you could vibe with and truly be yourself around. His tainted Sith Lord heart abruptly changed when he met a wonderful and light-filled lady named Mallorie in December 2023, and that is when the light changed his life forever! I’m Dean, one of the groomsmen. It has been a pleasure being in Manny and Mallorie’s lives, and I look forward to seeing them grow old together. I know you will both love, respect, and cherish each other until the end of time. May the odds forever be in your favor, and may light overcome any darkness in your lives.
