Our love story began in 2013 when Adam was invited by his Uncle Don, my assistant and college pastor at the time, to my church college retreat to Bass Lake/Yosemite, California. During this retreat we got to know each other, our friendship started to grow and our adventures began. Fast forward three years later, on June 24, 2016 we officially started dating. During the three years of dating there were so many wonderful times, but also many difficult times. We joined a new church together where we both still faithfully attend and serve. We both graduated college. Then I decided to go back and get my Masters and teaching credential. During that time, Adam went on a trip of a lifetime and backpacked/thru hiked the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada. He was gone for four and half months. Adam returned home after completing the trail and went on a missions trip to Fiji with our church. I graduated my Masters program and received my teaching credential. Then the Lord provided us with new jobs. We have continued to trust in the Lord through it all. Then came the best day ever...the proposal.

On June 20, 2019 Adam and I celebrated our three year anniversary in San Diego for the day. We took the train down to San Diego, kayaked in the ocean through a cave, rode electric scooters down the beach paths, and found ourselves on a cliff looking out at the beautiful view of the ocean. Adam asked me to sit on a rock and face the ocean while he "took a picture" of me. While he was pretending to take a picture of me, he reached in his bag for the ring box. As I was getting impatient with him "taking the picture", he stood in front of me, got down on one knee, opened the ring box, and asked "Will you marry me?" and of course my answer was... "Are you serious?!". After three years, the man of my dreams was kneeling in front of me asking me to be his wife. After the shock wore off, I said "Yes, I will marry you!". This was the best day of our lives. We cannot wait to become husband and wife and spend the rest of our lives together. We are so excited to celebrate this special time in our lives with you!
