We’re getting married!

Our first date was on this day at a local family owned coffee shop, bright and early at 10am. We had spent the past week texting back and forth, getting to know one another. I do not believe either one of us expected to spend over 3 hours on date one, but between small talk topics, more in depth and deep conversations, and stupid jokes time flew. Advice from our matchmaker Teresa (Mallorie’s Aunt) about one another. To Mallorie about Jake - we call him ‘Jake from State Farm’, he grows his beard out stupid crazy in the winter… don’t be alarmed. To Jake about Mallorie - she is ‘kinda’ short, she has a sweet daughter, and she is my niece.. be nice. 😂

As you all know that I (Mallorie) was a package deal. I was up front from day 1 that whoever joined my life also had to be willing to accept Lex. We are here almost 8 years later so obviously he didn’t mind accepting Lex.

After a rather rough journey we were finally able to add another bundle of joy to our family. Emily Grace Huebel

Christmas Day, Jake finally gets down on one knee promising forever to both Lex (with a necklace) and Mallorie (with a ring). Side note…. a ring was the only thing on my (Mallorie) Christmas list for the prior 5 years. It was about time.

Totally took us by surprise, thanks to Sandy and Skylar’s wedding (our maid of honor and groomsmen). However, he has made our family complete. Leo Lawrence Huebel

We could not be more excited for this day and for so many of our loved ones and friends to join us. I mean it’s only been 8 years in the making. 😂 It’s finally time to celebrate!
