📚Princeton Public Library

A cozy spot to relax, browse books, or enjoy the rooftop terrace. If you get a chance to explore the cookbook section, know Vishal is responsible for many new additions to the collection. He prompts the library to buy every interesting cookbook he stumbles upon!

🍽 Mistral Princeton

Our absolute favorite restaurant, offering creative small plates and seasonal dishes that always surprise and delight. We celebrated our engagement here with our families last winter!

Lawrenceville & The Countryside – Farms, Trails & Treats

🌾 The Pole Farm at Mercer Meadows

A hidden gem with peaceful walking trails, wildflower fields, and incredible birdwatching. Fun fact: Mallika recently completed the HiTops half, Princeton's annual half marathon, and ran over 100 miles on the pole farm and the LHT trail system it's a part of during training.

🍩 The Gingered Peach

Our favorite bakery, famous for insanely good pastries—try the sticky buns!

🐄 Cherry Grove Farm

Just down the road from The Gingered Peach, this working dairy farm is in calving season, which means adorable baby cows to meet! Their farm store is stunning, stocked with farmstead cheeses, meats, and other local goodies. Vishal spent a winter on this farm being a tough rancher boy and, later, Mallika famously lost her desire to ever own cows after 3 weeks helping out with calving season.

🔬 Institute for Advanced Study Woods

Wander the peaceful trails where Einstein once walked and Mallika—perfect for a quiet nature escape. A favorite place of the bride's!

🏡 Morven Museum & Garden

A historic home with gorgeous gardens and fascinating exhibits on New Jersey’s history.

⛰ Sourland Mountain Preserve

If you're up for a hike, this spot has beautiful trails, boulder fields, and scenic overlooks. On a clear day, you can make out the New York City skyline and it's always a treat!
