What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in Lake City likes to keep you on your toes. During the day, it is warm and the sun feels strong. Then the temperatures drop at night. Layers are key!

What should I make sure to pack?

Answer

Hat, sunscreen, water bottle, jacket, gym/hiking shoes. If you plan on going to the lake, don't forget your swimsuit.

Lodging?

Answer

`Since Lake City is a small mountain town, the lodging gets scooped up pretty quickly by returning yearly visitors. For this reason, we have reserved lodging for our guests at the Inn at the Lake. The ceremony is within short walking distance. Upon your arrival, Ginny will escort you to your room and square away payment.

Question

Are there other airports besides DIA I can fly into?

Answer

YES! If you don't want to drive the 5 hours from Denver there are two other airports: Gunnison (GUC) which is 1 hour drive time from LC. Montrose (MJT) which is about a 2 hour drive to LC. Keep in mind these are smaller airports and flights often get cancelled due to weather. They are also a little more expensive, but it's worth a look!
