FAQs

You've got questions, we've got answers
Question

When Should I RSVP?

Answer

Formal invitations will be sent out in October. We kindly request that you RSVP via the website by November 8, 2025.

Question

Is there a hotel room block?

Answer

Yes! We’ve reserved a room block at The Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth Hotel in Downtown Fort Worth. Please book your stay by Friday, November 14, 2025 using the link under the “Travel” section to receive the discounted rate.

Question

What is the best way to get from the DFW Airport to Downtown Fort Worth?

Answer

We recommend flying into Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). The Trinity Metro TEXRail provides a convenient connection to Downtown Fort Worth without the need for a car. Please note: TEXRail does not operate on Sundays, so you may need to use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft for your return trip.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our guests comfortably, we kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend. When you RSVP, you’ll be able to see whether your invitation includes a plus one. Thank you so much for your understanding!

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is Black Tie Optional, which means formal attire is encouraged but not required. Men can wear a tuxedo or a dark suit with a tie and women can opt for a floor-length gown, dressy cocktail dress, or an elegant jumpsuit. We can't emphasize enough that a tuxedo or floor length gown is encouraged but not required...please come in what you are most comfortable in. We can't wait to celebrate with you in style!

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at Robert Carr Chapel between 2:30 PM and 2:45 PM to allow ample time for parking and seating before the ceremony begins at 3:00 PM.

Question

Is there parking at ceremony?

Answer

Yes! There are two parking lots available. A small lot located behind Beasley Hall offers limited parking and accessible spaces. A larger lot is available at the corner of Parmer Avenue and W. Lowden Street by the TCU Music Center. Guests who may have difficulty walking may be dropped off on Princeton Street where an accessible ramp into the chapel is available.

Question

How long will the ceremony be?

Answer

The ceremony will be a traditional Catholic Mass and will last approximately one hour.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that phones and cameras be put away during the ceremony to maintain an atmosphere of reverence.

Question

Is there transportation to the reception?

Answer

Yes! A shuttle will be available from Robert Carr Chapel to PalmWood Events and Conference following the ceremony. Please note: Do not leave your vehicle at the chapel. If you plan to take the shuttle, we recommend using a rideshare service to get to the ceremony.

Question

What should I do after the ceremony ends?

Answer

Head over to PalmWood Events and Conference at 640 Taylor Street for cocktail hour from 4:30–5:30 PM. Dinner and dancing will follow!

Question

Is there parking at the reception?

Answer

Yes. There is a parking garage located beneath PalmWood Events and Conference. Parking will be validated.

Question

Is there transportation after the reception?

Answer

No, we will not be providing transportation at the end of the evening. However, The Worthington Hotel is just a 3-minute drive or 10-minute walk from PalmWood.
