FAQs

You've got questions, we've got answers
Question

Is there a hotel room block?

Answer

We have reserved a room block at the Worthington Hotel in Downtown Fort Worth. Please book your stay by Friday, November 14, 2025. Please use the link under "Travel" to book your room to receive a reduced rate.

Question

What is the best way to get from the DFW Airport to Downtown Fort Worth?

Answer

We recommend flying into DFW Airport. The Trinity Metro TEXRail offers a convenient way to reach Downtown Fort Worth without needing a car. Please note that TEXRail does not operate on Sundays, so you may need to arrange an Uber or other transportation for your return trip to the airport.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all guests comfortably, we ask that only invited guests attend our wedding festivities. You'll find the details about your party size, including whether it includes a plus one, when you RSVP. We truly appreciate your understanding.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is Black Tie Optional, which means formal attire is encouraged but not required. Men can wear a tuxedo or a dark suit with a tie and women can opt for a floor-length gown, dressy cocktail dress, or an elegant jumpsuit. We can't emphasize enough that a tuxedo or floor length gown is encouraged but not required...please come in what you are most comfortable in. We can't wait to celebrate with you in style!

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at Robert Carr Chapel between 2:30 and 2:45 to allow ample time for parking and seating before the procession begins at 3:00.

Question

Is there parking at ceremony?

Answer

There are two parking lots available. A small lot located behind Beasley Hall offers limited parking and accessible spaces. A larger lot is available at the corner of Parmer Avenue and W. Lowden Street by the TCU Music Center. Guests who may have difficulty walking may be dropped off on Princeton Street where an accessible ramp into the chapel is available.

Question

How long will the ceremony be?

Answer

The ceremony will be a traditional Catholic Mass, which typically lasts about an hour.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that phones and cameras be put away during the ceremony to maintain an atmosphere of reverence.

Question

Is there transportation to the reception?

Answer

A shuttle will be available from Robert Carr Chapel to PalmWood Events and Conference following the ceremony. We kindly ask that you do not leave your vehicle at the Chapel. If you plan to take the shuttle, we recommend using a rideshare service to get to the ceremony.

Question

What should I do after the ceremony ends?

Answer

We ask that you make your way over to PalmWood Events and Conference, located at 640 Taylor Street. There will be a cocktail hour from 4:30 - 5:30. Dinner and dancing will follow!

Question

Is there parking at the reception?

Answer

There is a parking garage at the bottom of PalmWood Events and Conference. Parking will be validated.

Question

Is there transportation after the reception?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation at the conclusion of the reception. The Worthington is a quick 3 minute drive (or 10 minute walk) from PalmWood.
