Wissahickon Valley Park
Enjoy one of our favorite places in Philadelphia! Take a scenic walk along Wissahickon Creek on Forbidden Drive and look for local landmarks like Valley Green Inn, Livezey House, and the Thomas Mill Covered Bridge. Parking is available at Valley Green Inn.
Philadelphia Art Museum
Explore the famous Philadelphia Museum of Art as it approaches its 100th birthday! The museum offers an incredible variety of art, and the building itself is worth admiring. Be a true tourist and take a photo with the Rocky Statue, and don't forget to check out the (free!) sculpture garden in the back.
East Falls
Take a walking tour around East Falls to see our neighborhood! Grab a coffee at Vault + Vine Café, stroll through McMichael Park, and end your grand tour with a beer (and rotating food trucks) at Wissahickon Brewing Company.
Schuylkill River Trail
You can't come to Philly without checking out the SRT. This 30-mile train runs along the river and goes all the way to Valley Forge National Historical Park! Park along Kelly Drive and walk (or bike) along the trail. This is where we got engaged! Fun Fact: The SRT is part of the nationally recognized Circuit Trails Network, which Jen's organization provides leadership, support, and funding for!
