Did the location of the wedding change?

Answer

Yes! The wedding was originally planned to take place at White Memorial Conservation Center, but all their summer reservations were cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic. Josh's Parents have graciously agreed to let us use their yard for a backyard wedding and reception. The address is 213 Old Mt. Tom Rd, Bantam, CT 06750.

What infection control protocols are in place for the event?

Answer

There will be an LPN performing temperature checks on site as people arrive to the venue. We are requesting masks be worn by all guests when not eating or drinking. Hand sanitizer will be readily available throughout the event. Dining tables will be larger than usual for the number of guests, to allow greater social distancing while eating. If you have any concerns about being seated with others, please contact us directly so we can accommodate you. The originally planned buffet style dinner has been changed to a plated dinner. Please update your RSVP with your dinner selection prior to August 2. If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact us!

Question

Is this event in compliance with Connecticut's legal guidelines for outdoor gatherings?

Answer

The current guidance (as of July 23) is fewer than 250 guests at an outdoor private event. Our event will be considerably smaller than that, with fewer than 100 guests in attendance.
