Do I need to be vaccinated?

Answer

As per Seattle law, all guests must be vaccinated and show proof of vaccination to attend indoor events. Please bring your vaccination card or a good photo of it on your phone or a copy in your wallet. You MUST have vax proof to attend.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We've reserved a block of rooms at the Hotel Monaco with a group rate discount of $149 per night. Book online through our link in the Travel page. The Hotel Max is also offering a 15% discount for booking online through our link.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The Ceremony and Reception are formal/dressy cocktail. If you or your kids wish to wear a Halloween costume, feel free. The Welcome Dinner is an optional Halloween costume party dress/ casual and Monday Brunch is casual.

Of course! Please note that in the RSVP option for the event.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

I'm bringing a child. Can I bring a child? I want to bring my child.

Answer

Yes, your children are also invited! We've booked an on-site event nanny service, so your kids can enjoy themselves with crafts and games (and the fish!) while you can enjoy the party.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The Aquarium doors will open at 6:00pm, October 31st. Feel free to arrive earlier and stroll the beautiful Waterfront, including seeing the Great Wheel and getting in some tacky souvenir shopping at Miner's Landing.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not have hosted transportation, but the Aquarium is close to downtown Seattle which has many transportation options. The recommended hotels are a 15-20 minute walk from the Aquarium.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There are public parking options close to the Aquarium: Public Market Garage @ 1527 Western Ave, Seattle, WA 98101 (5:00 am to 2:00 am) MarketFront Parking @ 1903 Pike Pl, Seattle, WA 98101 (5:00 am to 2:00 am) There are also street parking options. For a map of parking options throughout Seattle, go to https://downtownseattle.org/parking/ The Hotel Monaco and Hotel Max are a 15-20 minute stroll from the Waterfront.
