Catania Airport. Sometimes it is cheaper to fly into a big hub, such as London Heathrow and staying the night at a cheap hotel near the airport. It is also nice to have the long travel day broken up that way. It is ultimately your preference.
Please reference the "Travel" tab for hotel recommendations. You do not need to stay at any of the hotels recommended. There are also a lot of Airbnbs and VRBOs in the area.
As far as we know, Ubers/ Lyfts are not extremely common. So, if you are not in walking distance to the city center or plan on exploring while you're in town we highly recommend renting a car. ASAP for accommodations. Google recommends the best time to book international fights is 5-6 months before, as smaller European airlines do not have flights available too far in advance. Please reach out to Jon or I personally if you need help booking flights and accommodations, we'd be more than happy to help.
We will be providing transportation to and from venue. The location will be determined at a later date, as we are wanting to see where people will be staying. We will have 2 locations available for people to meet for shuttles. There is also free parking onsite, if you are choosing not to drink.
