We're getting married!

Colleen and David lived in the same neighborhood while growing up and were always together in the same group of friends. They grew up playing kickball on Colleen's front lawn and having family bonfires at David's house. It wasn't until years later that the two of them ran into each other at a restaurant, and David had invited Colleen and her sister Julia to hang out with him and some of his friends. For roughly five years, Colleen and David would get together to play Smash Bros, Mario Kart, board games and so much more. After spending so much time together and enjoying every second, they decided to start dating. It didn't take long for them to realize how good of a match they were together and they began to fall in love. This couple has done everything together, from traveling to four states and two countries, navigating a pandemic, completing escape rooms, and going to over 15 concerts together, there's nothing they do that they don't love doing together. From moving in together, raising two crazy dogs, and then getting engaged, they knew their lives together were just getting started.

Colleen and David have shared an interest in many different hobbies that have brought them closer over the years. They are both highly competitive in video games and board games, and both think they are the best! In addition, Colleen's love of Halloween has rubbed off on David and they now both love celebrating this fun holiday and take their costumes very seriously. Some other shared interests they have are walking their two dogs, Doris and Harvey, watching a range of TV shows together, being outside either doing yard work or walking trails and cooking and baking fun meals. Lastly, Colleen joined in on David's love of woodworking, and they started a small business together to showcase their wood designs. Overall, if they are doing an activity together, they are having a great time doing it!

Colleen was there when David bought his first puppy Doris over 7 years ago. They bonded over taking her for walks and playing tug-of-war with her. Colleen, David, and Doris have enjoyed many trips to Curtis Michigan, walking new trails in parks and moving from home to home. Doris has been on many adventures with the couple and she looks forward to many more, now with a brother! In 2024, the couple adopted a young dog Harvey together. This fun and energetic addition has made this pack feel even more like a family! Colleen started out as the cool aunt to Doris by purchasing fun treats and outfits for Doris, but always felt as though she was her dog. With the addition of Harvey, and then getting engaged not long after, they have started a beautiful family!
