Lucky to be in love

While working at the Hall of Fame, Jody introduced Jeremy to Malissa. Jeremy invited Malissa to a bonfire that he was hosting that night. Despite Jeremy's argument about how it happened, Malissa knows what went down. He claims he only invited her "to be nice." Malissa arrived early, excited that the cute cowboy had invited her out. Jeremy took Malissa on a Ranger ride to show her his dad's property. Malissa remembers the ride being beautiful. The Iowa landscape is breathtaking; it was a scene out of a movie. Jeremy rode through a clover field and told Malissa that it was a requirement to reach down and pick a clover. Jeremy reached down and, without looking, picked a 6-leaf clover. As Jeremy recounts, Malissa grabbed a fistful of clovers like a baby to macorni. Jeremy's 6-leaf clover convinced him that Malissa must be his lucky charm, and he was right. Through many obstacles, including but not limited to a cross-country road trip with a trailer that had a ripped out axle, a house that didn't have stairs for 2 years, endless late-night fire-calls, deployments, and anything in between these two never wavered in their love. You can say these two have luck. Lucky to have found a love like theirs, lucky they have a supportive family who they love unconditionally, and lucky to have friends by their side every step of the way.
