We officially met at an NHS meeting in OKC. However, we knew of each other before that because Joseph was a football player and Malina was a football manager. She thought he was gross! We went to an NHS meeting together and started talking to each other over lunch. Then, Malina asked Joseph to leave all his friends to ride back with her...And now we’re here!

Joseph and Malina took a trip to Paris, France in May 2022. The first full day there, they went to the Eiffel Tower during sunset. They went to the third level of the Eiffel Tower and were looking all over the city when Joseph got down on one knee and said, “Malina Cathleen Lemmons, will you marry me”.
