We’re getting married!

Although they didn't have classes together, Malik's and Tiana's paths often crossed on the lovely campus of Mississippi State University. After seeing her going to and from classes, Malik became intrigued by Tiana. Some might say it was by chance, yet others might say it was by fate, Malik was on Twitter when the algorithms did something special. There in his "Suggestions" feed was a picture of Tiana. Malik decided to message her, and the rest is history. It was instant attraction between the two of them. After months of getting to know one another, they officially became a couple on April 30th, 2019.

On November 2nd 2024, Malik planned an engagement that Tiana will always remember. He covered up the surprise by telling her he planned a birthday party for himself. When she walked in the room her father awaited her with flowers, along with the rest of their closest friends and family. As she turned around, Malik was waiting for her on one bended knee. And of course, she said yes!
