Is there a dress code?

We would love to request our guests wear semi-formal garden party attire. We want you to be comfortable and classy! We suggest mid-length or floral dresses in spring/summer hues, or suits or blazers in lighter colors (though classic dark suits are always welcome).

4:00pm at the latest, please.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Friday and Saturday at the venue, the band CAKE is preforming. Please be aware that this group is very popular in the Portland area and it will be very busy at the venue during these times. We have planned other events around the city to accommodate for this.

Can I bring a date?

With a tight occupancy at the venue, and both Keira and Malik coming from large families, we have extended plus-one's to only a few guests. If you have questions please text Malik or Keira

Are you registered? Where?

We are not registered at any physical locations. The effort it takes to travel near and far is the biggest gift! For those who are stubborn and want to still give a gift, our registry page has a link to our honeymoon fund as we both deeply value traveling and seeing this beautiful world God created!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

We will not be providing transportation. Uber and Lyft are the easiest ways to get around :)

What will the weather be like?

Welcome to Oregon, all of you out-of-towners! During the day, the weather in Portland should be beautiful, averaging 70-85 degrees in July, but will get chilly at night. Please bring some warm layers for the evening just in case!

What is parking like?

There is plenty of free parking near the entrance of the venue.

Can I take pictures/videos during the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them with us. We will also have a lovely photographer taking pictures of the entire evening. Additionally, we will have a VHS camera to pass around to take videos. Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
