Back in 2015 when Ebony and Malik went off to college, Malik became best friends/ roommates with Ebony's high school best friend Erik. This is where Malik new of Ebony and what she looked like, but Ebony was clueless of her stalker. A year and a half later, they where finally introduced to one another and begin having daily phone conversations. Malik had always told Ebony from the first time they meet that she was going to be his girlfriend, but Ebony kept brushing him off. Finally, Malik came down to Atlanta, GA for spring break. Although he was coming to spend spring break with his friends, he was coming to lay his eyes on " the love of his life" says Malik. From there they continued dating and seeing each other and then on October 21, 2017 Malik asked Ebony to marry him. Although it was very nontraditional and Ebony would have loved for her family and friends to be there, it was what Malik knew needed to be done then. So from this day forward because Ebony was going through a dry rough patch in life she was happy, but only there parents knew. "It has always been my dream to plan and have my dream wedding" says Ebony but because things where so rough for her at the time planning, or getting married was the last thing on her list.
