Malik and I met during a time when I was trying to figure things out as a single mom. I was living with my sister Dee at the time. I was not thinking about a relationship, I was still learning how to be a mom. I had come home after work one day and I saw Malik sitting in Dee's garage...the kickin' it spot. I am guessing Malik had just gotten off work because he still had on his Stater Bros. getup. He stood out because he was different than the regulars. A couple of days later, Dee came to me and said “ole boy wanna holla at you. You need to start hanging in the garage. I told her, I was not doing that. And guess what, I did not have to. He came inside one day and introduced himself to me and the rest was history. A few of Malik and I's favorite memories from our time together involve us playing UNO and spending time with our family and each other. Thanks to Deon and Tunisia, we have had the opportunity to create enjoy many traveling memories. Malik had our son Sir’Julius help him with the proposal. It was cute. Like my Hunnie said, “What one won’t do, another will.” 10 years later, here we are. We are so excited for you to join us as we say "WE WILL" at our destination wedding in July of 2026.
