The Dunns

This is how the story goes- (from Annastasha's perspective) It was March 9th, 2019 and my friend Liz and I decided to go downtown! We went straight to Wiley's that night (for some context- Wiley's is a bar you end your night at not start it) so we had a few (too many) drinks and decided to make our way to pAve. I was walking out and Malik was walking in. I Immediately noticed him. I tapped him on the shoulder and said "do I know you?" He said no and brushed right on past me. We continued our night at pAve and I eventually see him again. This time on the pAve stage. So we danced and eventually he asked for my snapchat. Then, a couple weeks later we were messaging on snapchat and I asked him if he would want to go on a date with me. He said yes! (It was the first time I had ever gone out with someone I didn't know) I was so nervous, I remember calling Liz and she said who knows this could just be a terrible date OR it could be the guy you marry. We went on the date and we just clicked. He told me his life story while I ate all of his tacos! :) He got bonus points for letting me beat him in bowling that night..... We have now been together for 5 years and have built the most beautiful life together. I'm the luckiest girl in the world and to think it all started because I asked "Do I know you?'
