We met working at Nature's Grocer in Vernon. I had been there for a little while, working my way up while Jori was merely mopping the floors. We started as friends and hung out at UCONN a lot. Initially, I tried to set Jori up with my best friend (hi Noon)... mostly because I was in denial he liked me more than a friend... I was wrong! Oops. SO glad Noon didn't like him in that way. We planned a trip to Europe as friends and eventually ended up going as boyfriend and girlfriend. After (almost immediately) meeting my whole family on Thanksgiving... everything fell into place pretty quickly. We fit perfectly into each other's lives and began to love each other's people. I'm grateful Jori was persistent throughout my denial of him liking me. We've both made it through college, grad school, moving to Syracuse together and now onto our next chapter... Thank you to everyone who has played such an important role in "our story" we cannot wait to celebrate with you all in June!!!
