We've been through it all: rough-housing after we were supposed to be sleeping, climbing trees in our backyard, and even going to the same college. Sistas forever!

As founding members of the Green Belt Gang, Ryan and I have been friends for as long as I can remember. We've explored every inch of our neighborhood creek, produced high quality youtube vids, created/jammed to all kinds of music, and always had each other's back as we grew into the fine young adults we are today. I'm honored to have Ry-Guy by my side.

From the minute I met Lori, I knew I wanted to be her friend! She's the best teaching buddy I could have asked for. I love being across the hall from her every day so we can constantly bug and distract each other. Connor tells me that Lori and I are the same person. We're always laughing together and the time always flies with her. I wouldn't have it any other way!

Another founding father of the GBG, Tyler and I met in pre-school and have been close ever since. Ty and I have tons of the same interests, and we've done everything together: sports, music, school, and more. It's amazing to see the skilled, successful person he has become. I'm lucky enough to have played shows with Tyler before he was the rockstar we now know and love, and I'm even luckier to have him joining me as my groomsman.

Shelby Grant

Shelby and I have known each other since we were just eleven years old! We were on the same soccer team, and the rest is history. We've spent countless hours staying up way too late in middle school, driving around aimlessly to avoid going home in high school, and cheering through tons of Sounders games. I can't even remember a time when Shelby wasn't by my side.

Austin Hwang

Austin and I met in 4th grade, and I spent almost as much time at his house as my own until we left for college, playing video games and watching football. He is one of the most loyal and hilarious people I know. Somehow, Austin balances being the life of the party socially, along with being a truly great friend, and someone with incredible ambition and dedication to his education.

Maddi Frye

I messaged Maddi when she was looking for a roommate our freshman year of college. Immediately after, I got into our dorm elevator with her and was too shy to say anything, so I speed-walked away as quickly as I could. Ever since we started actually talking, we've always gotten into crazy shenanigans together. Now I'm lucky enough that she moved to Seattle, so I still see her on the reg. We obsess over dogs, watch scary movies, and eat Italian food together, just like besties should!

Matt Kroe

I met Matt my sophomore year at San Diego State. He and a few of our other friends lived a two minute walk from my apartment, and I hung out at their place just about every day that year. Matt and I love tons of the same music, TV shows, and sports teams, and we’ve had more good times than I can count, including when he, Malia, and I traveled around Europe together. Matt has always known me with Malia and has seen us grow together for years.

Casey O'Brien

I've only known Casey for a year now, but I loved her and her family from the get-go. She started as my class' room mom, and we became best friends soon after. I can't imagine watching The Bachelor with multiple glasses of wine, crafting all day long, or playing board games without her! Connor always misses me to death when I'm with Casey because it's never just for an hour!

Geoffrey Gao

Since 3rd grade in Mrs. Gross’ class, Geoffrey has been one of my closest friends. Despite going to college on opposite coasts, I still managed to see him as often as any of my hometown friends, including the day Malia and I brought Avvy home. Another GBG musician, Geoffrey produces hip hop beats that he plays at shows in the US and Asia. Geoffrey is creative and brilliant, and he makes any gathering better with his presence.

Renee Lawson

Renee and I went to college together but didn't see each other very often. We got super close in the Credential program and I've never met anyone with a heart as kind as hers. We can go weeks without talking or seeing each other but when we reunite, it's like we never were apart. She's the kind of friend I know I will have forever. Everyone that meets her knows immediately how awesome she is and I am lucky to have a friend like her!

Drew Dunn-Rankin

Drew is an absolute treasure. We grew up together, playing on the same baseball team, rocking harder in his garage than you’ve ever seen a group of 6th graders rock before, and wandering around the wild streets of Irvine, CA. Drew comes from a friendly, wonderful family who helped shape him into the talented, smart, and funny guy he is today. I’m thrilled he’ll be up there next to me in August.

Ashley and I met our sophomore year of college. We lived a few apartments down from each other, but that was the last time in college we spent apart. From country concerts, Starbucks outings, Target runs, and cuddling on the couch, we always had the best times together. Now we get to go on fun trips to meet up each year...I can't imagine my life without her!!

Aaron Bucka

I've looked up to my brother in different ways throughout my life. First, he was my bigger and stronger rival who never let me win at anything. Then he was my teammate and ride to school who showed me the value of hard work. Now, Captain Bucka is a pilot in the US Marine Corps, flying the most advanced jet in the military, and I've seen the dedication it takes to be as successful as he's become. Aaron was an obvious choice as a groomsman.
