Malia and Cade met during college orientation at Western Oregon University in 2017.  They ended up being assigned to the same tour group and spent the day together.  A couple months later Cade asked Malia on a date and they have been together ever since.

How We Met

While on a vacation in Florida, Cade planned a family dinner on a yacht in Clearwater. Malia thought it was just to celebrate the vacation, but Cade had a different plan. After dinner, Cade took Malia up to the deck to “take pictures”.  Cade popped the question and Malia said yes!

The Proposal

Malia and Cade currently live in Monmouth, Oregon together.  Cade works as a Business Development Rep. at OpenRoad and Malia is working as a Middle School Teacher at Cascade Junior High.  In their free time they enjoy hanging out with friends, trying new food, going on walks and watching sports/movies together.
