We wish we could accommodate everyone, but due to limited seating at the wedding venue, we can only include those whose names are on the invitation. Please note that you are more than welcome to bring additional guests to Hawaii as you enjoy your vacation. Thank you for understanding!
If you are not in the bridal party, we recommend arriving by Saturday, May 31st, 2025, at the latest. Our optional welcome party for traveling guests will be on Saturday May 31st at 11 AM, so please plan accordingly.
As soon as possible! The 'Alohilani hotel block reservation has free cancellation 72 hours before the arrival date and no prepayment is required. Only a credit card is needed to book the reservation. Rooms are limited in our hotel block, so the earlier you book, the easier it will be for us to add more rooms later if needed.
Anyone attending the wedding can use the shuttle, even if you are not staying at the hotel. Please respond accordingly in the RSVP so we can ensure we have enough seats.
If you are planning to explore outside of Honolulu, you may want to rent a car. Please note that car rentals are limited in Oahu, so we recommend you book ASAP. All of the major car rental companies are available right at the HNL airport (https://www.gohawaii.com/islands/oahu/travel-info/transportation/car-rentals). Additionally, the 'Alohilani hotel partners with SIXT to offer car rentals with pick up/drop off right at the hotel (https://www.alohilaniresort.com/hotel/sixt-car-rental/). If you don't want to rent a car, Oahu does have a public bus system as well as uber/lyft. Note that some locations outside of the city may have limited uber/lyft pickups available, so plan ahead!
Should you choose to drive instead of taking the shuttle, there will be plenty of parking available for our wedding guests at the venue. We do not recommend taking Ubers to the wedding as it will be difficult to call one back.
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them with us. However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
The entire wedding will be held outdoors. On average in the month of June, the wedding venue location is 78° F high / 67° F low, so please dress comfortably and bring layers if needed.
Garden Party/Aloha (think colorful, florals, aloha shirts are fine - see https://greenweddingshoes.com/garden-party-attire-dress-code/ for more examples). The wedding will be held outside on grass, so please wear appropriate shoes (sandals, chunky heels). Additionally, please note that Kaneohe can be 78° F high / 67° F low, so ultimately please prioritize your comfort and dress as you see fit.
