The Bradford is conveniently located around North Carolina's RTP (Research Triangle Park). It is named for its location relative to the three surrounding cities of Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, or more properly, for the three major research universities in them: North Carolina State University, Duke University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, respectively.
