On March 16th, 2018, Ryan was at Eagles Nest with the boys and Maleka was on the country dance floor tearing it up with her friends. While she was dancing, she noticed a guy watching her from the side of the dance floor. He was then just thinking of the perfect thing to say to start a conversation once the song ended, but then he got cold feet and quickly turned around to find the boys. Maleka then saw Ryan leaning against the bar and decided to take the chance to tell him " By the way I think you are very cute." Ryan quickly responded with " Thank you and I think you are to," and immediately asked her for her number. Who knew that shortly after that they would begin dating and 3 years later on July 10, 2021, he then realized he didn't want to be her boyfriend anymore!
